Computer Forensic Services

"Computer forensics is the scientific process of capturing (imaging) and analyzing information stored in any electronic format, for the purpose of investigating allegations, to find the truth, with no predisposition as to the outcome. It is a highly technical discipline requiring a combination of unique skills relating to computer technology and software, formal investigative experience (law enforcement), proper evidence handling methods, and judgment. Computer forensics can be the key to learning the truth, taking appropriate action based on the facts, or winning the case."

While many definable and expected processes are involved in 'forensic services', each case is different and requires varying processes and different analysis methods. We thrive on associating data and data time lines, with the actions of humans, across multiple data sets, determining actual events or attempts to modify or delete data in order to deceive or defraud.

Our computer forensic services are born from over 25 years of information technology experience (support and software development) and formal certified computer examiner training (accredited by the International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners).

We perform our services strictly to the code of ethics of the International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners. We employ leading forensic software and hardware tools. When needed, we can use our own program development capabilities in order to productively address unique situations that are not serviced by the mainstream tools. We prepare reports compliant with the Expert Witness Code of Conduct in accordance with the Evidence Ac t (1995).

With the huge array of electronic devices used on a day to day basis to document and communicate information, there is barely a case that is heard where there is not relevant information stored somewhere on an electronic device. Our job is to forensically acquire, search, analyse and present this information.
